I received a surprise package yesterday, (well I knew it was coming, but I didn't realize it would be so soon!). On May 2nd, I ordered this limited edition lipstick and it was very, well, special. I had almost forgot about it, but when I did I pulled it up on my phone, (I have an iPhone). With all of the fabulous people trying to get their orders, in I think my page kept reloading for at least 5-10 minutes, (if you ordered one, you know what I'm talking about, lol). But then I found out that RiRi Woo sold out within 3 hours!

I finally ordered it and expected to get it in a week or two. It arrived in less than a week and I couldn't wait to bust open the package.



I was shocked that the box was big, way too big for a tube of lipstick. I would have been totally happy with a smaller box, just as long as my lipstick arrived safely.



I couldn't wait to try it out. I barely made it through the door after an intense workout ripping into the package. I usually am not a lipstick wearer, but according to Rihanna's shade, it is supposed to be a suitable red for all different shades of women. Never being a fan of red lips before, I gave this one a try and the initial result was a little dry.




Since this is a matte color, it is exactly that on my lips. Although the color is intense, my lips felt a little stiff when I applied it. Dying to add some shine, I added a little gloss to my lip and instantly loved the look. I prefer a wet lip and so this worked out perfect. Now the hardest part will be finding the perfect outfit for my new red lips!
